A medieval Manichean magical artefact, crafted as the metal frame of a simple parasol, to protect the virtuous “elect” from those who would do them harm.

It follows the extreme Manichaean definitions of virtue, and only really protects people who take some step towards the life of the Manichaean elect, eg by being vegetarian.

It was destroyed when Regina used it to defend herself from an Oden Tal demon, and accidentally reforged into a bus. The bus became Stake Out.

Note

Manichaeanism is a genuine lost world religion, and their order of elect, amongst other strictures, were said to follow what we now call a vegan diet.
